Go and see the butterflies (yes, this is one).
They fly around and land on little kids.

The title of this post might make you think that I'm writing about some kind of spay your pet program - nope. I'm writing about a fly fishing "festival" taking place in Golden Gate Park this weekend. Festival is not usually a word people associate with fly fishing, and don't let it fool you. What's happening is an international exihibition of some of the world's best spey casters.
As I have said before, Golden Gate Park has some of the best casting pools in the world, and if you're interested in learning more about the sport of fly fishing, this weekend provides a great opportunity.
If you want to check it out, here are directions to the pools. They are very close to the Japanese Tea Gardens and the de Young Museum, so you can make it a full day at the park.
